CASETiFY treats the case as a fashion and personalization product that also provides protection. Spigen treats the case more like hardware: it offers thin, clear, rugged, kickstand and magnetic models at multiple price levels.

Protection: CASETiFY's 8.2-foot claim vs Spigen's model-by-model approach
CASETiFY currently states that Impact with EcoShock can withstand drops up to 8.2 feet and reach a 4X military-grade standard. CASETiFY also says current iPhone 16/17 Impact cases use its Duo-Lock bonding structure.
Spigen does not use one universal foot rating across its current iPhone 17 catalog. Tough Armor T uses triple-layer construction with XRD foam and military-grade Extreme Protection Tech, while lighter products such as Liquid Air use Air Cushion Technology.
The old article claimed CASEBX dropped both brands from six feet and found similar damage prevention. That test is unsupported and has been removed. There is no honest way to convert different manufacturer protocols into a precise cross-brand winner without one controlled independent test.
Price: Spigen gives you more low-cost choices
Spigen's current catalog has a clear price ladder: Liquid Air is $29.99, Rugged Armor Mag Fit and Thin Fit Mag Fit are $39.99, Ultra Hybrid Mag Fit is around $44.99, Ultra Hybrid T is $54.99 on supported Pro models, and Tough Armor T is $59.99.
CASETiFY Impact is a premium-priced product, typically around the $60 tier depending on device, design and promotion. The extra spend is easier to justify when CASETiFY's design catalog, customization or licensed collaborations are the reason you want the case.
