Loopy baseline: integrated loop, not a removable MagSafe grip
Loopy's current Stealth Black case is $39.99. It integrates a flexible loop directly into the case, supports one-handed use and carries Loopy's manufacturer claim of 8-foot drop testing. The loop can accommodate different hand positions and replacement loops are available.
The design trade-off is important: Loopy is not a conventional flat-backed case built around quickly swapping MagSafe accessories. If you constantly move between a wallet, battery, charger and car mount, a removable magnetic grip can be easier.

1. Ohsnap Snap Grip: best ultra-thin removable alternative
Ohsnap Snap Grip is 3 mm thick and functions as a one- or two-finger grip, rotating stand and magnetic attachment point. It works directly with MagSafe phones/cases and includes an adapter for non-MagSafe setups.
A major 2026 correction is charging. Older Ohsnap marketing emphasized charge-through behavior, but Ohsnap's June 11, 2026 support guidance says Snap Grip 5 and Snap Grip Stand are designed to be removed for wireless charging. Ohsnap says charging through the grip and cases cannot be guaranteed and is not recommended. The old article's “always charges through” implication is therefore no longer appropriate.
2. PopSockets MagSafe PopGrip: best familiar removable grip
The current MagSafe PopGrip is $30. It attaches to a MagSafe-compatible case, expands for grip/stand use and can be removed for wireless charging. PopSockets also lets you swap the decorative top and use the grip with its current PopMount ecosystem.
PopSockets says its current magnetic grip is 50% stronger than standard Apple-compliant MagSafe. That is a PopSockets manufacturer statement, not a CASEBX force-gauge result.
3. TORRAS Ostand O3 Fitness: best integrated MagSafe stand case
TORRAS Ostand O3 Fitness for iPhone 17 is $39.99 and builds a rotating aluminum ring stand into the case. TORRAS lists MagSafe charging compatibility, a 360-degree pivot and an 8-foot manufacturer drop-protection claim.
This is the closest alternative if you like the idea of Loopy's all-in-one case but prefer a rigid ring/stand rather than a soft finger loop. Unlike Ohsnap and PopSockets, you are buying the case and grip feature as one unit.
Total cost matters: grip accessory vs complete case
Ohsnap and PopSockets prices are for the grip itself. You may still need a compatible MagSafe case, which raises the total system cost. Loopy and TORRAS Ostand already combine the case and hand-support feature.
The old article ignored this difference and compared accessory prices as though every option included equivalent phone protection. This update separates the two product types.
Which Loopy alternative should you buy?
